Sister's in the Spirit

Sisters in the Spirit is designed to support and enhance the existing ministries of the church while adding a special emphasis on the unique challenges and opportunities of women. Spiritually vibrant women add stability, unity, and depth to their families and to the local church. When women are nurtured and feel a sense of belonging, they flourish relationally and spiritually. To facilitate God's work in and through the lives of our women, we will meet women of all ages from our church and provide support to one another through prayer and fellowship.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Ephesians 4:4

What Can I Expect at a Sisters in the Spirit Meeting?
On the last Saturday of each month, we will have a light breakfast and a time of fellowship. Following breakfast, there will be a testimony, devotion, or short talk from one of the women in our church.

Most of our meeting will be spent in our small group prayer time. This will be a time to connect with other women, share requests, and then pray for God's power and help to become more like Him.

What is Involved in the Sisters in the Spirit Ministry?
After the breakfast and challenge from Scripture, the primary emphasis is on small groups. There will be a level of accountability and commitment expected of each woman that participates in this ministry.

Who Can Participate?
Women of any age, from senior high girls to adults. Each group will be comprised of all ages.

To become a part of Sisters in the Spirit, simply come to our monthly meeting, which is scheduled for the last Saturday of each month (unless otherwise noted in the bulletin), at 10:00 a.m.

Typical Meeting

   10:00 Light Breakfast
       muffins, fruite, hot drinks
   10:15 Women's Talk
   10:30 Small Groups
   11:00 Dismissal

Babysitting will be provided during our meeting
